Earlier this morning, I appeared on Mike Graham’s internet radio show. Mike is taking a well-deserved holiday, so Russell Quirk was filling in for him.
I appeared alongside Dr Vicky Pryce – a distinguished economist and author who has held senior roles in banking, major consulting firms, and the UK Civil Service, as well as serving as the Chief Economic Adviser at the Centre for Economics and Business Research.
Vicky is an old friend – we have often appeared alongside one another on radio, television and at various conferences over the years. While we have somewhat different world views, we have always debated each other in a decent and good-natured way – which I hugely appreciate.
On this occasion, too, during a 25-minute broadcast, Vicky and I agreed on a fair bit but again found points of respectful disagreement.
