A long but gripping read that delves into politics, geography, history and economics/ trade. The key thing is the article gripped me to the end… so I upgraded! I’m fascinated by how you glean all this information. Feeling educated and informed. Thx Liam.

insightful as ever.

a small country neighboring 2 major players... one has to be opportunistic, if one hopes to survive.

the possible dynamics are mind-boggling:

1/ what would the CCP do if US manages to win the contract after all, == US created a chock-point at the end of a long corridor.

2/ what Russia would do if indeed the middle corridor becomes China's main trade route and thus bypasses revenues they make of the northern corridor.

3/ what europe would do if a country that is knee-deep in chinese ties/ debt/ tech tries to join.

i guess its an opportunist's paradise.
