Well worth watching two experts. Glimmers of hope at the end, but despair at lack of expertise/ capability in the government and shameful how governments have drastically reduced capability of our military.

Thanks to both of you. I genuinely had no idea quite how hollowed out are armed forces are until this crisis. The breathing nativity of our political classes in the last two decades is staggering.

Thank you Kirsty. We need to rebuild Britain’s armed forces.

The IMF intervention is looking like the only way to stop the socialists, as the benefits cohort is so large that any party that promises to continue funding it will walk all over the party that even mentions addressing the "endless free stuff" insanity. Excellent and measured discussion, gents. Thank you.

Two marvellously clear and urgent explanations of our so dangerous situation.

One small question Liam. The current strategy is to extract as little as possible of our own oil and gas, but to consume both as much as ever by buying it on the world market.

Question - is it possible to calculate the effect on sterling exchange rates of moving back to extracting our own oil and gas? How much would it help reduce inflation in Britain?
